Input jams can result from either the failure of the printer to pick the media from a tray, or the failure to move the media through the input area of the printer. Self testconfiguration page

The self test configuration page lists many of the printer's current settings and properties. To print the self test configuration page, press and release Go and Job Cancel simultaneously when the printer is ready (Ready light is on). Econo Mode

EconoMode creates draft-quality printing by reducing the amount of toner on the printed page by up to 50 percent. Advise the customer to turn EconoMode on or off either from the printer driver or a software application. CAUTION Hewlett-Packard does not recommend full-time use of EconoMode.
